Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd | Rail

Following the installation of the TMS signalling system on the Metrolink Altrincham Line, Neary Rail secured the contract to remove all redundant impedence bonds, install new traction bonds and renew the traction return cabling to the sub-stations on a 10km section. Neary Rail first carried out an initial site survey to verify the design and enable all bonds to be made up in advance of the installation works.


Thales Ground Transportation Systems | Rail

In late 2015 Neary Rail were successfully given a package to install all civil works relating to the new TMS Installation sites for Bury and Whitefield Stations.The works comprised of installing signal,ppi bases, cast in situ concrete bases for cabinets and trackside units, precast bases for cabinets, hardstandings,approximately 30,000 to 40,000m of various signalling /power/data cables, new earth pits, all new galvanised bracketry for Spas lights including drilling the existing stanchion masts.


OSL Rail Limited | Rail

Neary Rail were contracted to install over 7000 metres of new lineside cabling to enable OSL Rail to divert the existing lineside cables onto a temporary suspension bridge.This allowed the new bypass rail over road bridge to be installed over Christmas 2015 by Costain.


Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd | Rail

Following the successful delivery of a number of diverse projects for them in 2014, Metrolink engaged Neary Rail as Principal Contractor to deliver 4 x track renewal and re-railing schemes. QUEENS ROAD JUNCTION S&C RENEWAL Over a 52 hour weekend in October 2014, a CV crossover and turnout was reballasted and renewed.


Network Rail | Rail

During early 2015 Neary Rail undertook brickwork repairs to Rufford Culvert on the Ormskirk Line in Lancashire. External works included brickwork repairs to both headwalls, removing all vegetation and benching the embankments.
