Urban and Suburban Installations

EHV Cable installation to the sub-urban and urban environments provides a completely different range of problems and issues. Experienced labour force and Site Management teams are required to delicately handle the large number of agencies who have an interest in this type of project.

The local authority, the police, various utitlity companies, bus companies and not least the general public need to be advised of the project and constantly liased with throughout the life of the project.

The experience of the labour force is also invaluable in actually installing the route into what are increasingly congested (with existing utility apparatus) streets. This experience is also important to carry out the new installation without any service strikes on existing apparatus.

The company has invested heavily in staff training and ths includes a significant number of staff trained to HS(G) 47 and the safe digging techniques that it suggests. This assists greatly in our stated objective of having zero strikes.
