Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd | Rail

In Summer 2016, Neary Rail completed the painting of Bury Stop Canopy for Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd before undertaking the painting of the parapet railings on the M60 bridge near Besses OTh Barn stop. Works at both sites were carried out over 3 months of midweek nights with all worksites and isolations booked and managed by Neary Rail.


Network Rail | Rail

In late Summer 2016, Neary Rail completed a package of brickwork repairs in Linslade Tunnel, on the WCML near Leighton Buzzard for Network Rail. Using our in house bricklayers, working within 2-3 hour possessions each Saturday night, 34 spot bricks were replaced and 166m2 of pinning and grouting completed within the tunnel.


BAM Nuttall Ltd | Rail

Neary Rail were successful in being awarded a package to carry out civils and surfacing works on three platforms on the Blackpool Tram network for BAM Nuttall. The works, at Little Bispham, Rossall School and Stanley Road stops, comprised excavating and disposing offsite the existing platform tarmac and hardcore, cutting into existing surfaces to form a straight edge, applying two treatments of chikara weedkiller spray, supplying and installing a protective membrane board with taped joints, importing all new type 1 stone and resurfacing works.


Linbrooke Services Ltd | Rail

Neary Rail were contracted to rod rope and prove around 6000m of buried duct to three areas in and around Motherwell. Area 1 was approx.


Telent Technology Service Ltd | Rail

Following the installation of the new RETB system on the Far North lines in the Highlands, after the initial testing it was apparent that there were a few blackspots with coverage, Neary Rail secured the contract to return to three Stations to date. Lairg Station to install a new REB base, troughing,new galvanised handrails, new timber steps install and cable containment.


Network Rail | Rail

During 2016, Neary Rail successfully replaced life expired platform coping stones at 3 stations on the West Highland Line. Works at Garelochhead Station required 167m of coping stones to be replaced.
