Carlisle MDU - Concrete Apron Replacement and Drainage Works

Network Rail Appointed Neary Rail as Principal Contractor for the Carlisle MDU Concrete Apron and Associated Drainage Works. The existing concrete apron in front of the East Block of Units at Carlisle MDU was susceptible to ponding to the front and flooding into the Units under the roller shutters and doorways due to incorrect falls and poor installation previously.
Willington 275/400kV Substation Cable Civils / Decommissioning of Existing Oil Filled Circuits and Installation on new XLPE Circuits

Substation and cable civils to facilitate the installation of new XLPE 132kV cables including the removal of existing oil filled 275kV cables along the cable route between the 400kV and the 132kV sections of the Willington National Grid Substation.The contract also included the installation of 11kV ducting including cable installation for the cable diversion for the LVAC site supplies ring main unit within the National Grid substation.

Neary Rail were awarded the Manchester Piccadilly Station Platform 13 & 14 Canopy Replacement Project and Appointed as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer. The Project entailed that the existing canopy structure throughout Platform 13 and 14 was to undergo a full refurbishment, comprising replacement of existing canopy glazing panels and fascia boards throughout Platform 14.
