During 2014, Neary Rail undertook a number of civils works for Nottingham Trams including fitting anti slip step nosings, relaying subsided platform slabs, installing new duct route and replacing embedded broken rails. ANTI SLIP STEP NOSINGS Replacement of life expired step nosings at 4 NTL stops with new yellow DDA compliant anti slip step nosings.
WCML UTX Installation

Neary Rail recently installed two new UTX's on the West Coast Mainline at Warrington and Preston as part of the current 650v Signal Power Distribution Cable Renewals project for LNW Works Delivery in Preston. Neary Rail had previously installed five UTX's as part of the original 650v power cable renewal project in 2008-2009 so was pleased to secure the latest UTX's on this project.
Ambergate Station Access Works

B&K Property Services engaged Neary Rail to undertake access improvement works at East Midland Trains, Ambergate Station in Derbyshire. The works comprised pavement, drainage, access road, embankment and step improvements.
Metrolink Feeder Cable Renewal

Working closely with Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd, over a 2 month period, Neary Rail renewed the 750v feeder cables at 8 substations on the Metrolink network. Each week the feeder cables at one substation were renewed.
