Structures Repair Works Phase 1 lines

The works comprise brickwork and concrete repairs to over 40 structures and platforms on the Metrolink network, between Altrincham and Bury.
Neary Rail as were responsible for managing all aspects of the work including booking worksites, booking and taking isolations, arranging all TM and GMRAPs permits and supplying all safety critical labour.
Structures include bridges, culverts, viaducts, tunnels, retaining walls, buildings, platforms and canopies.
Works include repointing, re-casing, pinning and grouting, sealing, painting, steelwork repairs, GRP walkways and rebuilding.
All civils and building works are carried out using our in house labour force.
Works are carried out on days and nights, depending on work locations with Neary Rail responsible for the management of all pedestrian, passenger, tram and road traffic interfaces.
