This project comprises three packages of work, two at Beauly Substation near Inverness and one at Fort Augustus.

A double 132kV circuit (from the substation out to a new Pylon) and a single 132kV circuit (between sealing ends in the substation) were installed during the Spring and early Summer of 2011 at Beauly. The cables were predominantly installed in open fully-timbered trenches.

Works to install a double 132kV circuit at Fort Augustus are programmed to commence in March 2012.
