Bedford St Johns Station Staircase Renewals

Neary Rail have successfully Installed and Commissioned the Replacement access Staircase to Bedford St Johns Station.
This was a logistical challenging scheme due to the restricted access to the existing Timber Staircase that was to be recovered due to tight access only via rear of Station Platform and abutment walls to two sides.
The existing had to be recovered safely in small sections with workforce working at height.
The replacement GRP Staircase was fabricated at Evergrip Limited and transported / installed in stages connecting Landings and Step Sections together.
New Bulkhead Lighting was fastened to the Staircase to ensure that the user had compliant levels of Lighting for safe usage.
We would like to thank all those suppliers and contractors for their hard work in getting this Project Comissioned and handed back to Network Rail
