Sheriffs Ride Footpath Crossing

Neary Rail were awarded this Project to renew the existing Footpath Crossing Sheriffs Ride near Lichfield.

Scope of works included the renewals of the existing Timber Crossing surface incorporating Anti-slip decking and Solar illuminated studs.
The approach Gates and lineside fencing was also replaced and the pedestrian walking routes upgraded to Tarmac surfacing with GRP handrailing installed on each approach.

Working closely with Network Rail and the local Council for footpath closure, the Project was completed with zero accidents or incidents.
