Following completion of the primary troughing routeworks for Metrolink RATP Dev Ltd at Bury and Whitefield stops, Neary Rail have been chosen by Thales to undertake the minor civils and cabling for their TMS project at the same stops. Works will comprise installing signal, ppi and cabinet bases, constructing hardstandings, installing secondary cable route and pulling up to 40,000m of various lineside signalling /power/data cables.

Following our maximum 4 star audit pass in December 2014, Neary Rail were proud to pass our recent RISQS IMR audit, this time achieving 5 stars. Neary Rail continue to be RISQS approved for over 100 product codes which along with our RISQS Trackside and Railway Interface Planning capability, Provisional Principal Contractor Licence and BS EN ISO 9001: 2008, BS EN ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001:2007 certifications ensures we have a lot to offer clients and main contractors within the rail industry.

Neary Rail are pleased to announce the award of two contracts with Network Rail in Scotland. The first contract will see over 545 metres of coping stones replaced at Garelochhead, Arrochar & Tarbet and Ardlui Stations on the West Highland line.

Following the successful completion of the brickwork repair works in Summit Tunnel earlier this year, Neary Rail are pleased to have secured a further 2 brickwork repair projects in tunnels under our LNW Civils Framework with Network Rail. Works to Linslade Tunnel, on the WCML near Leighton Buzzard, include pinning and grouting and spot brick replacement within the tunnel.


IMS Update

The Company continues to maintain its certification to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. Over the past 3 years we have been audited by our certification partner RIQC Limited on a number of occasions and remain committed to the continual improvements of the integrated management, both Civil and Rail Divisions.


UVDB

Neary Construction recently completed the new UVDB Verify Version 2 Audit and continue to maintain the high standards that we have demonstrated over a number of years.The assessments generate a detailed report of the company's capabilities that are used as an aid to sourcing for the Utilities but also as valuable guidance on improvements the company has made.
